KESSELSKRAMER, a retrospective

Wonderfully quirky, inventive and producing work that is imbued with a healthy appreciation of satire, KesselKramer is one of the Netherlands most sought after agencies. Located in Amsterdam, but also with a new office/shop/exhibition space in London, the agency has helped some of the biggest brands on the planet find new ways to tell their stories, including Nike, Diesel, Oxfam and the world’s worst hostel, The Hans Brinker Budget Hotel. Erik Kessels is the co-founder of the agency.

Before anybody called it activation, even before Droga5 and CPB, there was a small Dutch ‘advertising’ agency that was doing some of the most unconventional work without worrying too much about labels. A personal favourite.

Here’s a 50 min long retrospective by Erik Kessels about his 15 year old legendary KesselsKramer. Watch to rekindle your love for advertising.
